General Questions

How many toilets do I need for my event?

If you are using one of our Portable Toilets then each toilet is great for up to 50 people, our Luxury Toilets are great from 175 people. If your event is a multi-day event then give the team a call or send us an email and we will talk through the various options with you.

Where should I plan on siting the toilets?

You’ll need to plan to site the toilets where we can easily drop off and collect. If the items are to be delivered to a domestic property we will need access for the vehicle to drop the unit with a suitable place to park. If there is a wall or other obstacles in the way then a crane mounted lorry may be required for delivery and collection. We will also need suitable access to service the Toilets.

Will the toilets need servicing?

This will be discussed at the quoting stage to ensure you have the correct facilities for your event. For events taking place over a number of days, we would normally recommend a service visit or that you have our attendants on site for the duration of the event

What access is required to the site & how will the toilets be delivered?

We would normally expect good access with firm level ground, should the access be difficult a site visit is normally carried out in advance of the event to discuss method of delivery or alternative facilities.

Do I need to arrange insurance in case of damage or vandalism to the equipment at my event or site?

Yes, it is the responsibility of the hirer to arrange insurance cover for the facilities hired from Portable Facilities.

What will be included with the toilets?

Toilets will be delivered with toilet paper, paper towels and soap if fitted with a sink, or hand sanitiser. If consumables run out between services it is the responsibility of the hirer to replenish.

When will the toilet be collected?

We will endeavour to collect the toilets as soon as possible after the hire period is over, however it may take up to 7 days to collect the units during which time the toilets are the responsibility of the customer.

Where can I find the terms and conditions

The terms and conditions of hire can be found here by clicking the button below or visiting the “About Us” tab in the menu and selecting T.O.S.

T.O.S.

When & how do I need to pay for my toilets?

We ask for full payment prior to delivery on all toilets and fencing.

If your event is more than 2 weeks away we will ask for a £30.00 deposit, this secures the equipment for you as we have to operate a first come first served system. We will then send you an invoice prior to your event which needs to be settled in full 14days prior to your event.

If your event is less than 2 weeks away, we will request the full balance on booking.

Payments can be made by debit or credit card from a link on the invoice, over the phone or online via BACS.

Please note that if your event is cancelled within 3 days of the hire start date, we will be unable to refund your booking.

No, only use the toilet paper which is provided, anything else may cause blockages and problems, if this requires us to come on site to fix this, it may end in extra charges

Are there lights in the units?

In our standard toilets no there are not. They have a translucent ceiling which lets light through, so please ensure they are in a well lit location.

Do the toilets have any security to prevent theft?

No, the customer is responsible for the security of the toilet from commencement of hire. You can secure the door with a padlock at night, and ensure to tell us the combination!

Of course it has a lock in the door for when someone is using it

The toilet I've hired is not flushing, how do i fix this?

If the toilet is not flushing, pour a bucket of water into the pan and bring the water level back up and pump a couple of times to get the flush working again.

If the problem persists please contact us and we will be with you as soon as possible to resolve the problem

What happens if the toilets are damaged or stolen?

As stated in our terms and conditions. When the toilets are in your possession until we pick them up, you are liable for any and all damage or loss of equipment. And may receive extra charges.
